All Change! Swapping Social Work for Glamping

Little Otchan Shepherds Hut has been running now for nearly 5 years. This year, due to the pandemic, we have seen our busiest year yet with people opting for staycations. With this in mind I needed to turn my full attention to overseeing the Shepherds Hut and alleviating some of the pressure from my husband Jonathan. After working for the Local Authority as a Social Worker for 2 years I decided to take the plunge and take over the reigns of the Shepherds Hut and also start planning our next adventure into Glamping Bell Tents.

It has been a real privilege working as a social worker and I will certainly miss all of my colleagues and team!

I am very lucky to now get to work with Jonathan, family and enjoy working outside and being fully committed to developing our business and making our guests experiences of staying with us as special and unique as ever!

We will be releasing new details soon about our Glamping offer of Bell Tent Accommodation and we will be looking to keep you all updated with our progress. I look forward to welcoming you as our guests at the shepherds hut and to continue providing the perfect getaway. Love Catherine xxx
