Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions for booking holidays at Little Otchan Glamping can be found below. Please ensure you read them carefully.
Cancellations/Insurance
Once a booking is confirmed, the hirer is responsible for the total cost of the holiday as shown on the invoice. We therefore strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance with your insurance broker. In the event of severe weather Little Otchan Glamping reserves the right to reschedule a booking to another date of equivalent value and convenient with the hirer.
Terms and Conditions
To secure your booking a payment needs to be paid in full for Little Otchan Glamping per holiday is required.
In the event of cancellation
If the cancellation is more than six weeks before arrival and the balance has been paid then the total cost of the holiday will be refunded and a handling charge of £25, ONLY if the booking is able to be re-let. If the booking cannot be re-let the cost will be refunded less the deposit and a £25 handling charge Alternatively the cost of the holiday can be off-set against a holiday to be taken at a different date, subject to availability and a handling charge of £25, later in the year.
If the cancellation is less than six weeks before arrival and the balance has been paid then the cost will not be refunded unless the booking can be re-let and then 50% will be refunded, nor can it be offset against another date later in the year, nor can it be rolled over to the following year, except in exceptional circumstances and by arrangement with the owners.
Whilst every effort will be made to avoid them, booking errors made by Little Otchan Glamping will not in any circumstances be compensated for unless there is less than 6 weeks until the booking dates commence. If there is less than 6 weeks until the booking date commences Little Otchan Glamping liability will be limited to the return in full of any monies paid.
Whilst we will always endeavour to allocate specifically requested Glamping positions, we are unable to guarantee them.
Liabilities
Please remember you are staying in a woodland camping environment with live animals and other hazards. We are also located on a working farm and at times there will be noise and smell associated with this. Some of the camp equipment can be dangerous if misused. Little Otchan Glamping will not be responsible to you at all, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, restitution or otherwise for any injury, death, damage or direct, indirect or consequential loss (all three of which terms include without limitation pure monetary loss, loss of profits, loss of business or revenue, depletion of goodwill, lost expectation, loss of savings, lost data and similar loss) however caused arising from or in connection with the use of the facilities including any computer virus.
We advise that any guests with limited mobility contact us prior to booking.
Force Majeure
Little Otchan Glamping are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event they are prevented from fulfilling your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond their control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.
Number of Guests per Property
The maximum number of guests permitted in Little Otchan Glamping Accomodation must not exceed the number stated on the booking form. The proprietor reserves the right to decline accommodation and to order any unauthorised person off the premises.
Breakages
Any damage or breakages which may occur must be paid for. Accidental damages or breakages of a minor nature will not normally be charged.
Complaints
Any complaints must be made known to the proprietor immediately. No complaints will be entertained at the end of the hiring period or after the hirer has departed. Little Otchan Glamping is relieved from liability should the accommodation or other facilities be unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control.
Pets
No pets are allowed on site due to the site being located on a working farm.
Day Visitors
Day visitors are welcome but must be arranged with the owners prior to the guests arriving and must have left the site by 10pm. Due to the goverments track and trace policy we will need the details of the guests so they can be contacted. The facilities are for the sole use of the residents.
Bicycles
Guests bringing their own bicycles should ensure they are locked, please bring locks with you. The proprietor cannot be held responsible for damage or theft to bicycles left on the property. Bicycles are NOT permitted within Accomodation.
Arrival and Departure
Bookings are from 3pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure.
Guests are asked to leave their accommodation clean and tidy when vacating. Guests are asked to give consideration to other residents and not to cause nuisance or annoyance. The owner reserves the right to gain access with prior notice for the purpose of maintenance and inspection if it is necessary.

DECLARATION
I have read the booking conditions and agree on behalf of all members of my party to abide by those conditions. I understand the balance must be paid at least 42 days before the holiday is due to start. I am over 18 years of age.
Terms and Conditions of Social Media Competitions
The promoter is Little Otchan Glamping.
The competition is open to anyone 18 years or over except employees of Little Otchan Glamping and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The route to entry for the competition is to like the post on our Facebook Page.
Any additional action (including sharing a post, commenting, watch party, tagging etc) are done at the entrant’s discretion and do not impact the outcome of the giveaway.
We will at no point contact any entrant via Direct Message to say they have won the giveaway and ask for a payment.
Please do not give any billing information via messenger on Facebook to anyone who might try and pass off as an employee of Little Otchan Glamping.
We have the right to allow more than one entry per competition at times. We will notify specifically in the post if this is the case
Closing date for entry will be stated in the post of the Facebook page. After this date, then no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
The prize will be clearly stated in the Facebook Post
The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
Winners will be chosen at random via the software platform that we will share if anyone wants to know more
The winner will be notified by a notification on Facebook and within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
