Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you have hot tubs?

The Shepherd's Hut has a woodfired hot tub. Perfect for relaxing on your glamping break.

2. Is bedding included?

Yes! In our Shepherd's Hut and Bell Tents the beds are made up with cosy bedding prior to your arrival.

3. What about towels?

Our Shepherd's Hut guests are provided with towels. If you are staying in a Bell Tent then you will need to bring your own.

4. What time is check in/check out?

Check in is from 4pm. We aks that all guests check out by 10.30am on your day of departure.

5. What are your kitchen and cooking facilities like?

The Shepherd's Hut has a small kitchen with kettle, microwave and induction hob. There are pots, pans, utensils, plates etc to make cooking and enjoying food easy as pie! There is also an outside firepit for cooking.

The Bell Tents kitchen is a large shared space with lots of room for all guests to cook and store food. There is a large fridge freezer toaster, kettles, mugs, pots, pans and all crockery and cutlery. We also provide outdoor cooking equipment to use on the firepits.

6. What are the Toilet and Shower facilities ?

The Shepherd's hut is en-suite with a shower, sink and toilet.

The Bell Tents each have their own shower room with shower, sink and toilet and storage space for towels and toiletries so you don't need to carry your toothpaste back and forth. The bathrooms are only a short 30m away from the tents.

7. Is there phone/wifi signal?

We don't have wifi, but most phone networks get a really good signal!

8. How far away is Great Newsome Brewery?

Beer? Yes! You can pre order a beer lovers pack for your stay when you book or you can visit our Brewery just down the road in Frodingham. The address is Great Newsome Farm, South Frodingham, HU12 0NR.

9. Where are the best fish and chips?

Little Otchan Glamping in East Yorkshire is only 5 minutes from the holderness coast! A trip to us wouldnt be complete without a chippy tea. Try The Lifeboat or Golden Haddock in Withernsea or the award winning Whiteheads in Hornsea.

10. Can I bring my dog?

Sorry we don't allow dogs at Little Otchan Glamping.

We do offer dog friendly stays at our holiday home Eggleston.
