Little Otchan Glamping Bell Tents are the perfect family friendly break for families wanting the traditional camping experience without the hassle of pitching a tent and bringing all of the gear with you. At Little Otchan Glamping we strive to blend comfort with nature providing facilities that cater to both relaxation and fun and adventure! We want to meet your needs so you can simply enjoy precious family time and make memories you will cherish.




Inside the Tents
Comfy Beds: Each tent has a double and two single beds. The beds are made up for your arrival with cosy bedding and blankets. An extra bed can be added if required.
Lighting: Each tent has battery powered lighting, including bedside lamps and fairy lights adding to the magic of your night under the stars.
Heating: Each bell tent has an electric heater. We also provide hot water bottles to keep you all feeling warm and toasty.

Outside the Tents
Each tent has a chunky wooden picnic bench and a BBQ plinth for a disposable BBQ. Fire Pits can also be hired which can be cooked on or just enjoy gathering around the campfire to toast marshmallows. Is it even a family camping trip without toasting marshmallows?!
Private Bathrooms: Each tent is assigned an individual washroom, equipped with a toilet, shower and basin. This ensures convenience and privacy for your family.


The Glamping Field: Facilities
Communal Kitchen: Our well-equipped kitchen features gas hobs, a fridge-freezer, toaster, kettles, crockery, cutlery and a large dining table. A log burner add warmth and ambiance on cooler evenings. The kitchen area is also perfect for gathering together for a game or a meal, especially if it’s a rainy day. There are books a few games and our own personalised colouring sheet.
Wood Fired Pizza Oven: Experience rustic outdoor cooking with our pizza oven. Perfect for family meals and creating your very own pizza masterpieces!
Communal Firepit: As well as being able to hire your own fire pits there is also a large shared fire pit. Perfect for large family group stays or just getting to know your fellow glampers!
The Glamping Field: Things to Do
Playtime: We have a small den area, a football goal and ample space to run around and burn off energy. Bring your outdoor games and let them burn off energy and make new friends in the fresh Yorkshire air. There is a bug hotel with magnifying glasses so bring your bug spotting kits!
There is plenty of room for a family game of rounders of cricket too! Enjoy spending some family time together away from screens and re-connect with a bit of family friendly competition.
Farm Animals: Say hello to our goats Cookies and Cream and Sheep Fluffy and Blossom. In the field just next door to the glamping field, watch their playtime antics or just enjoy watching them munch away on their grass. Opportunities to feed the animals are available during your stay.

Nature Walk: Our family friendly nature walk is just over a mile long there and back. This is an interactive trail where you can answer questions along the way. There’ll be plenty to see in the hedgerows and fields. Look out for lots of different birds, rabbits and pheasants!





Things to Do in the Local Area
A Beach Visit
No trip to Little Otchan Glamping is complete without a visit to one of our fantastic beaches! Long stretches of sandy beaches and rolling waves will captivate you and your children alike! Withernsea beach is only a 5 minute drive away. A traditional seaside town with a long stretch of sand and shallow water. You only have to wander a little bit and you will be sure to come across some sea-glass. The kids will love treasure hunting and finding jewels in the sand!
A bit further afield is Hornsea Beach, again a seaside town with a lovely beach and also a paddling pool area on the front for little ones to splash in whilst you enjoy a coffee.
A family nostalgia trip to the seaside towns of Hornsea and Withernsea is like stepping back into a simpler more carefree time. Think about the smell of salt and vinegar chips, sandy toes and the chime of the 2p machines and it brings back a melody of childhood memories.
Visit Hull, The Deep and Museums
Hull is a family friendly city with a lot to do! It’s only a 40 minute drive away from Little Otchan glamping and there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained.
Start the day at The Deep, the iconic aquarium Marvel at sharks, stingrays and super cute penguins! There’s plenty of interactive and educational exhibits for all ages where you can learn about ocean conservation.
Head out for a walk along the Humber. There’s always a ship or two passing by and some great photo opportunities. Enjoy a stop for lunch down Humber Street, kids will like the boats on the marina and the street art. Nibble café, Berts Pizzeria or the Minerva pub are excellent family friendly options.
Hull’s museum quarter is a brilliant (and free!) way to spend an afternoon. Streetlife museum is a must with children. They can climb aboard old trams, carriages and buses. There’s old Victorian games and a traditional Victorian street to explore too. Just next door is also the East Riding museums where the huge woolly mammoth is the star of the show!
Williams Den
A little further afield but an epic day out is Williams Den! It’s an absolute dream for kids who love climbing, splashing and running wild. Its also great for parents who like to see them burning off all of that excess energy. There is huge indoor play area so its perfect for a rainy day too!
Swimming
East Yorkshire has some great leisure centres and a perfect family treat is a trip to a swimming pool. Withernsea leisure Centre pool has a really long slide, with a large main pool and baby pool.
Bridlington Splash Zone is a great option for all ages where there are two slides to race down, a splash area with tipping buckets, water shooters sprinklers. There is also a large deep main pool for swimming and playing.
Kelsey Gardens
Kelsey gardens is located in Burstwick which is a 15 minute drive from us. If you fancy something different and little adventure, this hidden gem is a great spot for families. Kelsey gardens has a huge tree lined lake and is well known for its kayaking and paddle boarding. Perfect for beginners, families can hire all equipment (or take your own!) and enjoy time on the water enjoying the fresh air and tranquility. There is a also a small café area selling tasty sandwiches, cakes and drinks. Sitting outside with a cup of tea overlooking the water is a lovely way to wind down after a fun filled afternoon or morning.

We are a quiet site and want guests to enjoy the peaceful countryside, not loud voices and music. We do ask that all music be turned off at 10pm and noise is to be kept to a minimum until 7.30am. Talking around the fire and outside is fine but please be considerate of other guests.
